Epoxy film for stretchable FPC | Excellent metal adhesion and resilience

Achieves both reflow heat resistance and flexibility. Provides high adhesion to copper foil and silver paste, contributing to the insulation layer of wearable devices and three-dimensional substrates.

This product is an insulating film that combines the "flexibility" and "process resistance" required for stretchable FPC and printable electronics. ■ High adhesion to metals and conductive inks In addition to being capable of copper foil attachment and etching processes, it adheres strongly to silver paste without surface treatment. This enables improved reliability of stretchable circuits, which was difficult with conventional materials. ■ Excellent recovery and heat resistance It has low hysteresis loss and demonstrates excellent recovery even when repeatedly stretched. Additionally, it possesses high heat resistance, capable of withstanding a reflow process at 260 degrees for 5 minutes, which is a significant feature that allows for direct application in electronic component mounting processes. ■ Enhanced design flexibility Despite being a thin film, it ensures an insulation breakdown voltage of 12kV/0.1mm (Type E) and maintains insulation performance. It can be utilized in areas where space-saving and reduced driving load are required, such as smartphone camera modules and the bending sections of foldable devices. *For more details, please download the catalog or feel free to contact us.

Characteristics and Processing Methods of Insulating Material "PET Film"

Automotive converters, electronic devices, touch panels, electromagnetic shields, and more! They can be used in many places.

Our company, Yamada Manufacturing Co., Ltd., has built a long-standing trust and track record with our customers in the field of non-metallic resin pressing due to the uniqueness of this sector. We introduce fundamental information and know-how regarding the processing of insulating materials from a perspective that only we can provide. Please read this before selecting materials or processing. The insulating material "PET film" is an industrial film that possesses excellent toughness, electrical insulation properties, heat and cold resistance, and chemical resistance. By adding pigments, it can be modified to grades such as milky white, white, and black. Additionally, it is a multifunctional material with many grades, including matte layers, high transparency (optical), smooth processing, antistatic treatment, and low thermal processing. 【Features】 ■ Excellent toughness, electrical insulation properties, heat and cold resistance, and chemical resistance ■ Can be modified to grades such as milky white, white, and black by adding pigments ■ Has many grades, including matte layers, high transparency (optical), smooth processing, antistatic treatment, and low thermal processing ~ If you have any requests regarding the pressing or bending processing of non-metallic materials, please leave it to us! ~ *For more detailed information, please refer to the PDF materials.

BeLight usage example: Flat cable insulation material

Can also be used as adhesives or substrates! Introduction to flat cable materials.

Introducing the applications of the thermoplastic ultra-low transmission loss film "BeLight" used in the insulation material of flat cables. With the trend towards thinner devices, flat cables have become mainstream. Conventional materials face issues: PI and PET are unsuitable for high-frequency applications, while LCP is expensive and has poor processability. This product can be used both as an adhesive for FFC and as a substrate. By using this product, the insulation part (adhesive + substrate) can be made low dielectric. 【Expected Benefits (FFC Applications)】 ■ Reduction of transmission loss - By lowering the dielectric constant and dielectric loss tangent, it contributes to the suppression of signal attenuation, especially in high-frequency bands. ■ Thinning and flexibility of cables - With a low dielectric constant, it contributes to the thinning of the insulation layer required for the specified characteristic impedance and enhances cable flexibility. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

[Insulation Film Information] Latest technology information on insulation films in motors.

Introduction of insulation film suitable for use in motors #InsulationFilm

In conventional motors, resin materials were used between the electromagnetic steel plates (iron core) and copper wire (enameled wire) to insulate the copper wire (enameled wire) from the electromagnetic steel plates (iron core). Occasionally, when winding the copper wire around the core, the enamel may peel off, leading to short circuits, which necessitated insulation treatment during the winding process. Subsequently, as the quality of insulation films improved, films such as PET film began to be used to enhance the packing density. Currently, the following films are primarily used as insulation films: PET film, PEN film, PEI film, PI film, and PP film. The main materials for these films include: - Epoxy film - Polyimide film - PTFE film - Acetate cloth - Polyester film - Glass cloth - Glass filament polyester film Each film has its own heat resistance and insulation classification. In the manufacturing of motors, insulation films are used in positions such as the insulation work between the copper wire (enameled wire) and the electromagnetic steel plates (iron core) and during crimping operations.
